Over
the past (ahem) years Pól has played in Punk/Rock bands, wandered
into the eclectic global music genre, and attempted to conquer the world. His greatest feat (size 9) would be to provide incontrovertible evidence on who shot
J.F. Che, Martin Luther King and all the other good guys. Of course, most know who, trouble is the Rothschild Rockefeller (no it's not the name of a prog-rock
singer) inbred clique have other plans for us, so the only way he feels we can ameliorate this imbalance is by making music yours, not theirs. Have to go, the
nuthouse nurse is preparing to give him his daily injections.
Rob is responsible for all marketing and design issues with
oikz.com, as well as the day-to-day running of the site. He likes football. From Scotland, he has over 10 years experience in the design, media and music
industries. He likes football a lot. He is also the OIKZ house band's bassist. Did we mention that he really likes football? He would like a section of the
site devoted to football songs.
Bonjour, je m'appelle Michel,
je suis guitariste depuis l'age de 16 ans.
Cathal was born
into a family with a strong musical background. He was listening to traditional and folk music from an early age. Then he was trained classically to play piano
and trumpet but was led away from this formal style nearly 20 years ago by a certain Pól Mollan who introduced the likes of Joy Division and The Church to his
ears. Many years of gigging as keyboardist then bass player followed with numerous bands and a lot of musical styles. One or two of these bands actually went
places but only after Cathal had left (or was sacked!) Eventually, after obtaining a music degree from University of Ulster, Cathal went on to work in the
technical departments of Belfast Waterfront Hall and Londons' Barbican Concert Hall amongst others. As a live sound operator he has worked with many bands and
continues to do this presently. He is also involved in the local Northern Irish music business and is active as part of a team who run all-ages music events.
He has a passion for music and is a strong believer in real music performed by real people with real objectives. After an impromptu traditional session at a
camp site on Achill Island in Co. Mayo in July 2005 Cathal is going to pick the acoustic guitar up again. He hopes this will bring him closer to the meaning of
life as he realises there is nothing better than sharing music!
After wondering
around aimlessly for several years after highschool, Kevin finally wound up in LA in a country influenced/stones meets Dylan indie rock band as the lead singer. Kevin
also does Web Design for beer and rent money. Kevin’s favorite drinks are whisky straight from the bottle and bloody mary’s. “I didn’t use to care much for
whisky but it does wonders for my voice when recording. Irish whisky is really my favorite.”
Kevin also plays guitar, harmonica and lapsteel. He’s not good at keeping jobs or remembering
appointments but he is good at being in a band and booking shows. Hopefully fate will be kind to him and allow Kevin to make it someday. Time will
tell.

Kristina grew up in a small rural town
in Illinois. Her earliest loves were theater, art, music, and furniture design. As a teenager, she organized local charity shows and events which directly
involved the small but growing musical community in her home city. Later, she studied art and biology in St. Louis, but craved a thriving music scene.
Kristina relocated to Boston, MA in 1999 and has been active in the Boston music community ever since.
